This fun and exciting workshop will explore various ways to correspond the
subject of landscape with contemporary artistic concerns. Concepts of
color, design, and techniques will be presented and demonstrated.
Critique, at-easel assistance, and lots of painting time will make this an
educational and enjoyable painting experience. All levels are welcome from
beginner through advanced. A confirmation & supply list will be sent.

Spring colors provide a great source of inspiration for pastel painting.
Come and learn or excel in your pastel skills in this series of classroom
exercises. Under painting and working in the broken color technique will be emphasized.
Designed for beginning and intermediate pastel painters, we will use a
variety of surfaces and techniques to grow in our pastel studies. Create beautiful
energetic works utilizing broken color technique. Students will be provided with reference photographs to work from
(or bring your own). Art will be created on Art Spectrum or Wallis Boards.
Students will experience a variety of pastel techniques
including blending,under painting,color techniques, layering of hard & soft pastels.
