| Process for Hangings at Colony Mill - |
| To make check-in more efficient, we have only one form for Registration to fill out. You must have a label on the back of your work with name, address, telephone number, title of work, and medium. Artwork must be properly framed and securely attached into the frame. You must have screw eyes and wire to hang. No exceptions A Special Note to all artists submittin!! work at the Colonv Mill Marketplace for the KAA Theme Shows After much thoughtful discussion we have it a policy to exhibit only Original framed artwork in the space we use at the Colony Mill. This means that framed, matted Prints of an original piece will NOT be accepted for display on the 2nd or 3rd floor walls. Paintings should be actual paintings made directly with the appropriate media; i.e, watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, colored pencil, collage, and mixed prints made with the printmaking media - a press, linoleum blocks or vinyl blocks, litho, silk screen, or mono-prints are acceptable. Digital Art and Photography are considered to be their own specific media and also will be acceptable. Consider it our "Gallery" space. We are fortunate to have this opportunity to display our work. If you would like to sell copies or prints of your work, we can list that prints are available. The gallery space used on the 2nd and 3rd floors should be a showplace for original work, only. |
